Stories From Our Families

“When Emma began working with Mrs. Meg at The Literacy Center for Dyslexia three years ago, she was incredibly shy and timid. The mere idea of reading aloud in front of others would cause her to freeze up. But today, she’s not only a confident and skilled reader, she even volunteered to read aloud to her entire youth group! The progress she’s made is amazing, and I know a big part of her newfound confidence is thanks to the incredible support she’s received at TLC. I’ll always be grateful!”

“Throughout it all, TLC and its staff supported us, Sawyer never stopped working hard, and we never quit advocating for our son. By the time Sawyer’s 3rd grade year was coming to an end, he was tearing the roof off his reading!! He has been attaining above average scores and outperforming most of his peers ever since...peers that he had not so long ago been 2 whole grade levels behind. It goes to show what giving dyslexic children the right people, tools, and methods can do! We will forever be grateful for the help and HOPE TLC has provided Sawyer and our family. This organization is worth everyone’s time and energy to ensure it stays healthy and thriving in our community.”
